My group for the documentary film is with Viveka and Giuliana, we are the only girls in the class. When we started to work on our documentary film by choosing the theme, we first chose to create a documentary film about poor children in Argentina and work with the non- profitable organization: Filochicos. When we ask permition to a woman in charge of it, she told us it would be very dificult and complicated for us to do it so we chose another theme which we liked more. We chose to change our theme to tattoos; the story of the tattoos, what meaning do they have, etc...
When we presented our film pitch on the tattoo documentary, our teacher really liked it. So the next day Viveka and I visited this famous gallery in Buenos Aires called "Bond Street", which is a "gothic" kind gallery full of tattoos and piercings shops. We took a couple of shots and videos and I, personally, talked with the owners of the most important tattoo shops on the gallery and asked them permition and their colaboration to film our documentary.
My roles in the documentary film is being the writer which means that I create the storyboard, and the script. And my other role it to be the editor which means that when we have all the material we need I have to paste it together and choose what i like the most to create an entretaining and interesting documentary.
